Storymap: Western public lands threatened by drilling under Biden

From the doorstep of Nevada’s Ruby Mountains to the remote backcountry surrounding Dinosaur National Monument in Utah, the Bureau of Land Management is currently considering drilling proposals that threaten some of our most wild and scenic public lands.

These areas never should have been leased to oil and gas companies, but the outdated process that governs the use of our national public lands prioritizes drilling over the environment, hunters, anglers and hikers — not to mention taxpayers.
